The PrintOut Team
Starting work in a print factory with letterpress machines, Ralph moved on to a large international publisher of books and magazines, then on to traditional book publishing. A long spell in design and print management working for leading FMCG and corporate clients was followed by managing demanding City of London clients before a brief return to a print factory, then on to providing services to advertising, media and publishing clients.
Dave has been in print production for most of his professional career, he’s done the lot from mixing gum arabic to managing the business. Dave has delivered some amazing cost savings for our own Residents’ Magazine, there’s probably not much he doesn’t know, but insists he’s still learning! When he’s not thinking print you’ll probably find him watching Chelsea FC (ok, nobody’s perfect!) or wandering around his local golf course (he calls it ‘playing golf’). Oh well, see you at the 19th hole!
Pete’s background has been print, print and more print! Even when he lived abroad for a couple of years he worked in the print industry. He has an interest in software systems and has set up print management systems for various organisations. When he’s not printing he has an interest in classic cars, real ale and baking. Allegedly, he makes the best baked lemon cheesecake this side of the Watford Gap!
Amanda’s paper model typewriter and self-produced magazine were amongst early childhood projects before she became an art teacher. Design and desktop publishing led her to holiday brochure production and near impossible deadlines. She’s happy to have worked during a period of great advances in print and automated workflows. Outside of managing the fine detail for her customers she loves to travel, explore our heritage, and hone her photography skills. She is most proud of her Blue Peter badge!
